S2 - Suk’s Quartet
Suk's Quartet is one of the young student string quartets of the Music Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The ensemble was created in 2021 with the entry of Daniel Matejča (violin), Natália Toperczerová (violin) and Bohumil Bondarenko (viola) into the first year. Jakub William Gráf from the second year took over the cello. The quartet plays under the direction of professors Leoš Čepický and Ivan Štraus. In 2022, the quartet won the Talents for Europe competition in Dolné Kubín, Slovakia.
Due to operational reasons, we had to postpone the date from the original date of 24 February 2025 to 29 September 2025. Tickets purchased for the original date remain valid.

ABOUT CONCERT
Suk's Quartet is one of the young student string quartets of the Music Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The ensemble was created in 2021 with the entry of Daniel Matejča (violin), Natália Toperczerová (violin) and Bohumil Bondarenko (viola) into the first year. Jakub William Gráf from the second year took over the cello. The quartet plays under the direction of professors Leoš Čepický and Ivan Štraus. In 2022, the quartet won the Talents for Europe competition in Dolné Kubín, Slovakia. The four musicians regularly perform at the classical music festival in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, and this year they will perform, for example, as part of the St. Lawrence season of the Prague Spring or at the Concentus Moraviae festival.
The concert is broadcast live by Czech Radio station D-dur.
